Beginnings....

Blogs seem to the new "journal" for young marrieds. I've never been the journaling type, but it seems like people are having fun writing all of their stories and fun things so.....I figured if I was going to start a blog I should start now.

Honestly what peaked my interest in blogging was my friend Chelsey who has had a blog going ever since she and her husband got married and it's super cute. Also, I watched this movie called Julie and Julia. It's about a woman named Julie who cooks her way through the Julia Child cook book and blogs about it daily. It's also my FIRST official movie recommendation! It's a must see but kind of a chick flick....so sucker your man into watching it with you and make some popcorn.

My husband and I just got married - hence the MRS. part.....the boyfriend part is just a joke. I posted something about my "boyfriend" on Facebook and my status about blew up with comments so I thought it might be a good idea to go ahead and explain the joke now before I get to hear about it again. :)

So this is the first post of what I hope become a fun blog with lots of readers and comments ;-)
